I am a stay at home mom of two children living in Northwest Ohio. What better way to help out with the family finances then to do something that I love to do! I love primitives and am so excited to be building a business of my own business.
I told you I was going to try to update this more. Today has been a crazy day but I won't bore you will all my comings and goings. However, I have one to share! I brought my items to a cute little shop in Findlay, Ohio today. I am excited for Erin and her new adventure at Handmade Home! I forgot to take pictures when I dropped off my items there today so I will try to post some soon. You can check out her Facebook page at www.facebook.com/handmadehomeshop!
I added a badge to my Facebook page today, www.facebook.com/grubbyprimitives. I am sure very few people read this but I thought just in case I would send you to where most of my action is posted. Make sure to check it out and Like my page if you haven't yet!
I am excited to start making some more candles in the next few days. I have a few orders for Carrot Cake candles and Blueberry Muffin too! A few of my favorite scents. I am making some Citronella candles for a special order, I will let you know how they turn out! I also have a new scent to debut but I will keep you on pins and needles until they are made! Ha!
What other things do you think of when you hear the word Primitive? I feel like I have been out of the loop and need to get back into the swing of things. So, any ideas would be great! Of course, there is Pinterest. Oh my goodness, does your head spin like mine does when you see all of the wonderful and creative ideas on there? What a wonderful idea! I do have a Pinterest site for Grubby Primitives too. So make sure you follow me on there too!
Okay, here is a test as well. I want to get a larger following on my blog and Facebook page so, I will give away a Candle if I get 10 or more comments (from different readers) on the blog post! Are you in?
Well, I guess I should get going for now. Thanks for taking time to read my ramblings.
Wow, it has been a long time since I have written on here. So much has happened since I have been blogging but I will write more about those things at a later time.
I am working on getting back into the swing of things with my primitives. Grubby Primitives can now be found on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Etsy. I am now in an adorable shop called Novelties & Nostalgia in Woodville and soon to be in a shop called Handmade Home in Findlay!
Now that it is summer, I will be thinking Fall! Ha! I have been coming up with ideas to try and I am so excited to do so! I wanted to post a few pictures of a few of my items. I hope to get lots more items on here soon. Just be patient with me. :-)
My Owls! I really love making these!
Carrot Cake! A great new scent I added this Spring!
I have a brochure of all my scents if you are interested. Just ask.
A Picture of a bunch of my candles in the new shop,
Hello! Wow, it has been too long since I have written on here. I hope to keep up on this better now. I have been putting my items on etsy. If you have not checked out my store make sure you do by clicking here. I have been busy crafting getting ready for some upcoming craft shows. I just finished Christmas in October in Findlay. It was nice to do a show again. Here is a picture of my set up from that show.
I have been working on fall and Christmas items. I made Candy Corn Bowl Fillers and they sold like crazy at my show in Findlay. I think they turned out really cute and smell yummy to. I am selling them for $3.50 for a pack of 3. Check out the picture below and pretend you can smell them!
I made these cute snowmen out of lawn timbers too. I sold out of all my small ones and plan to make more. I have three sizes of them. They come in 4, 6 and 8 inches tall. I have not put any pictures of my snowmen on etsy but I plan to soon! Here is the 6 inch snowman...he is so cute! I made them in all different color hats and scarfs. He is only $6.50!
I also have a facebook page for my business. I must admit I write more on there than I do on my blog but I will try to do more on here. Become a fan of my facebook page by clicking here.
Well, I will post more pictures soon. Thanks for reading! Please leave me a comment so I know you stopped by.
It has been way too long since I have written on here. I have been busy crafting and just doing life. :-) I will be posting new items on my etsy store Grubby Primitives Etsy Store tomorrow so be ready to check it out! What do you think of my new banner? I spent many hours working on it which included using a program I have never used before. I will be starting a FREE giveaway soon too...be looking out for a chance to win!
Okay, after much work and effort I finally have one item listed on my Etsy store! Please check it out and let me know what you think. I will be adding more pictures and items soon...if not today! My etsy store address is as follows: http://www.etsy.com/shop/grubbyprimitives
I really hope this will start to get my items noticed. I love my Primitive wares and hope others will too!
Okay, I am finally on my blog again. After talking to my friend Donna (Thanks Donna!) and a few others I decided to start my own Etsy store. My goal is to have some things listed on there by the end of the week. I am going to try to keep writing on here and keep up with the Primitive world. I still want my own store and for now the Etsy store will be a stepping stone toward it.
Thanks to those who encouraged me to keep stepping toward my goals!
